"Seeing the Wood for the Trees" is a three-year placemaking initiative developed in partnership with Greywood Arts and Glenbower Wood & Lake Committee. Centred around the community-owned Glenbower Wood, this initiative uses art to inspire care for the environment, celebrate local heritage, and bring people together to explore and strengthen their connection to this special place.
"Seeing the Wood for the Trees" is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland through the Arts Grant Programme, Creative Ireland through Cork County Council through the Creative Communities Programme and Community Foundation Ireland,
"Our Glenbower" signs promoting community-ownership of Glenbower Wood made for May Sunday Festival 2025 from The Seed Pavilion seed-boards incorporating card woodland figures made by pupils of Kyle National School.
